WoW cataclysm Gold is preparing to launch the second expansion called The Witchwood, in April. It will be the first time that an expansion will roll to The Year of the Raven, which means that older expansions, as well as some of the cards will be taken out of the standard game. We looked more closely at the cards revealed thus far. Blizzard will host an online stream on Tuesday, the 26th of March at 11 AM PT to reveal more cards, and likely announce plans for release.
Today, Blizzard revealed its new WoW Cataclysm Classic expansion, the dark and haunted theme called The Witchwood. And though the company has only revealed six cards so far, those six pack a lot of flavor and implications for this expansion's direction--especially thanks to the introduction of two new keywords. Let's look at them more closely.
Pumpkin Peasant The card is actually two cards, as it is in your hands it can change from a minion of 2/4 to 4/2 and back. WoW Cataclysm Classic has certainly played with similar effects prior to and with cards like Molten Blade or Shifting Scroll shifting to random cards drawn from a collection of weaponry or Mage spells, for instance. It's a different kind of shifting since it happens in a predictable manner. It means you can plan your turn ahead and know exactly the exact timing you have to let it go. It's not a stretch to observe Blizzard expanding this concept with additional cards that change around with a clockwork pattern.
Phantom Militia - This is the first of two brand new words introduced with this update. The Echo keyword lets you play a card several times within a single round. Although Blizzard has used the same idea in Shaman's Unstable Evolution card, giving it a keyword indicates that the company has more strategies for the mechanic with cheap WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold this expansion and even beyond. Keywords also indicate connections with cards which could allow you to perform tricks such as cutting costs or enhancing effects.
