Thresh Socket is a superb alternative to Pindleskin - but only in Single Player! Find a layout by which he spawns right next to the Waypoint and employ a source of Telekinesis to min-max your efficiency.

Increase your Magic Find whenever possible. With a decently equipped Mercenary, you do not even need much damage by yourself!
